How it all started...
New Life church has been active in the town of Rugby in other forms for many years. However in its current form the church started meeting in a local school in Brownsover in 2000. The leaders at the time felt God call the church to relocate to the town centre in 2006 and continued to meet in a local school hall.
In 2008 the church grew and believed that God wanted us to establish our own facility. In 2009 we raised enough money to purchase Temple buildings on railway terrace.
The church continued to grow and we as a leadership team were challenged to think bigger. We sold Temple buildings and bought the disused Car garage across the road in 2012. This is the building we currently find ourselves in today. We have been developing this facility ever since. Preparing the ark so to speak for the people and missions that will follow.
During this pioneering time we have blessed the town with many different forms of service through English classes for immigrants, foodbank, children's groups, youth groups, toddler groups and the training of Christian leaders.

Expanding the vision...
As a leadership, God gave us five keys to unlocking the community based on 1 Kings 17:8-16, Elijah and the widow's story.
Growth – God positions people to facilitate development.
Giving – The widow could not out-give God.
Networking - Developing relationships wider than the local.
Community mission – sharing life and teaching the lost.
Discipleship – training people to be dependent on God.

Where we are headed...
We currently are developing the final area of our facility, which we have referred to as the hospitality phase. We believe that to reach people and make disciples of them, we need to host them. A relationship is a crucial part of discipleship. How can we disciple if we don't give the space to relate to one another? We are looking to utilise this social hub to connect to others through the gospel of God's kingdom and through the good works of the Spirit in helping others.
Be a part of our story...
Join us every Sunday as we gather to worship together at 10:30 am.
